TCNM-AD/EX/SP Family Software Configuration Parameter Guide

Focus

Locked Position (cm/in)

This parameter allows the scanner focus position to be saved in memory. If the physical focus position changes with

respect to the saved value, an alarm can be generated (message on the scanner display, TCNM-ACBB5 display,

diagnostic message on the selected interface).

Selections:

Unlocked

the focus position is not stored in memory. Changes in the focus

distance do not generate any alarms.

NOTE

Changing this parameter causes the scanner to reset, and therefore, if the scanner motor has

been set to

off

by the Energy Saving/Serial Motor OFF parameters, the motor will automatically be

TCNM-ACM-OM110 Oscillating Mirror

NOTE

This parameter group is available only for

TCNM-AD/EX family

scanners with Oscillating Mirror.

Oscillating Mode

This parameter defines the oscillating mode of the scanner mirror:

Selections:

Fixed

the oscillating mirror deflects the scan line at a fixed angle of

deflection (-15°).

Continuous

the scan line is deflected according to the Amplitude and Frequency

settings.

Amplitude (degrees)

This parameter is available only when working in Continuous oscillating mode.
It defines the deflection range in degrees as a symmetrical oscillation with respect to the fixed angle (-15°).
