By pressing
Remove
, the highlighted View will be deleted. Pressing
Remove All
will delete, after a short
information about this, all Views in the list.
You can add a View within the list by pressing the
Insert
button; the new View will be placed above the
highlighted View entry.
Pressing the
Move to button
will bring the specimen holder back to the highlighted view.
You can move a View within the list by marking it and pressing the
arrow buttons up or down
until
the View has reached the wanted position within the View list.
The
Sort Angles
button when pressed will sort the views in a list with ascending angle values. Hence the
first view will have the lowest angle value.
Note, it is crucial to acquire the list of adjoining angles views in an ascending sequence since this
will be later used for registration and fusion of views with the
Lightsheet Processing
.Note, when
you create multiple Z-Stacks with the Multiview-setup tool, they might have different numbers of
slices. In the Dimension View tab, the maximum number of slices present in the dataset will be
displayed, even if a view with less slices is chosen.
The
Quick Setup
button opens a new window with a software interface that guides you through the
process of setting up a multiview experiment; including the positioning of the sample, defining the
necessary Z-Stacks (Range, Slices and Interval), and the number of views. The Views created with the
Quick Setup can be added to an already existing list or replace the old entries.
Be aware that the
Quick Setup
is a tool to facilitate the creation of a multiview experiment but the
resulting Z-Stacks might have a wider range then absolutely necessary to image the specimen. If data size
is an issue in your experiment, or time considerations, it can be more efficient to manually setup the
multiview experiment with tight fitting Z-Stacks.
When the Quick Setup wizard is started with views already present in the list, an information window will
open (Fig. 119). It allows to choose if the entries generated by the
Quick Setup
wizard should replace,
hence delete, the present views or if all views are kept.
Note, the
Quick Setup
will use all settings in the tool tab windows as they are for creating the list
of views. They cannot be changed afterwards. For example if the
Continuous Drive
shall be used
for the
Z-Stacks
that are created with the Multiview
Quick Setup
tool, it must be activated
beforehand in the
Z-Stack
tool tab.
When the
Quick Setup
toll window opens, the optical zoom will be changed to half the value (if
possible), so that the field of view of the specimen within the
Quick Setup
tool window is enlarged.
The Multiview
Quick Setup
tool window is divided into four sections. On the right hand side are the
Image settings
tool tab and the
Specimen Navigator
tool tab (see section
The
Image settings
tool grants easy access to the
Light Intensity
slider for adjusting the brightness of
the infrared illumination.
