ID Number
The ID number 001 is by default assigned to the first ID block on the tape. The ID number
increments by one automatically each time recording starts up to the maximum ID number
of 999.
Incrementing the ID Number During Recording
To increment the ID number by one in the REC mode, press the ID key once.
Note
When new recording is performed or the ID key is pressed to increment the ID number
after a recording with an ID number of 999, the ID number changes to “000”. Thereafter,
the ID number is not incremented by additional recording or other operations, and all
subsequent recording blocks’ ID are 000. Note that real-time clock search cannot be
performed for portions with ID numbers of 000.
ADDRESS (address) Display
The ADDRESS automatically goes to 00H00M00S at the beginning of each recording
block (continuous recording area). These zeros are automatically set each time the REC
mode starts. The ADDRESS counts up according to the tape speed. For the normal speed,
the count increments each actual second.
