EOD LED
Lights when the tape is at the EOD (End of Data) position.
EOD signifies the end of the data recorded on the tape.
Note
•
When recording is stopped, the TOC and EOD are written at that address and the
EOD LED lights.
•
When starting to record from the EOD, make sure that the EOD LED is extinguished
after recording starts (within approximately 5 seconds at normal speed).
•
In the FWD and FF modes, tape transport stops automatically when it reaches the
EOD.

REW key
Press this key to select the REW (rewind) mode.
In the REW mode, the tape is fed in the BOD direction at approximately 75 times the
normal speed.
When this key is pressed in the search mode, the start ID of the current recording block
is searched.
When pressed in the FWD mode, the tape skips to the start of the current ID number.

BOD LED
Lights when the tape is at the BOD position.
BOD signifies the beginning of the data recorded on the tape.

In the REW mode, tape transport stops automatically when it reaches the BOD.
