11 External Control
The SIR-1000W can be operated easily by using a TTL level control signal via the
EXT.CONT connector.

Input
: TTL level, pulse width of 100 ms or more, input by shorting pins 1 or 15 (GND)

: TTL level output, sink current maximum 20 mA

ALARM
: Output when any one of low DC voltage, recording/playback error, dew
condensation or mechanical malfunction occurs.
+5V
: Used for lighting external LEDs. 100 mA maximum for pins 2 and 14 together.
