Lights when over-ranging occurred in any channel in the E-E, REC-PAUSE, REC or
FWD mode.

SPD LEDs
These LEDs indicate the tape speed set for the recorder. The LED of the selected speed
(1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, or 1/16) lights.

AUX LEDs (1, 2)

When a signal (TTL level) is input to the AUX-1 (DIGITAL) IN connector, or when
the recorded signal is played back, the “1” LED lights.
•
When a signal (more than ±0.2 Vpk) is input to the AUX-2 (IRIG-B) IN connector,
the “2” LED lights.

EXP LED
Lights when a channel expansion unit is connected and enabled according to the
channel mode (16-channel mode).

SYN LED
When multiple recorders are operating in synchronizing mode, the SYN LED lights or
blinks according to the states of the recorders.

EXT TC LED
Lights when the IRIG-B time code signal input from an external time code generator
is successfully detected, or during playback of the IRIG-B time code signal recorded
on the tape.
