POWER LED
Lights when power is supplied to the SCX-16W, and blinks when the power voltage
is lower than the specified value. Turn the power ON/OFF with the STAND BY switch
on the SIR-1000W. If the SIR-1000W is not connected, power cannot be supplied.
2
Bar meters
Display the analog data signal levels for channels 9 to 16 with a unidirectional row of
LEDs, in either dB scale (–20 dB, –6 dB, 0 dB, OVR) and percentage scale (10%, 50%,
100%, OVR). When the level for any channel is beyond the range, the corresponding
OVR LED lights.
Note
Since the bar meter of this SCX-16W indicates the level in one direction regardless of
the signal polarity, even when the level is displayed in percentage scale, the indication
may differ from that of the SIR-1000W.
The signal level of the SCX-16W can be monitored by the bar meters on the SIR-
1000W.
3
ANALOG INPUT connectors
Used to input the analog data signals of channels 9 to 16.
!
CAUTION
•
Be sure to input signals within the specified voltage range (
±
26.6 Vpk).
•
Internal circuit may be damaged if the voltage more than
±
100 Vpk is input.
Note
When EXT is selected as the test signal, the signal input to channel 9 of the SCX-16W
is used as the test signal for all channels of that unit.
4
BAND LEDs
The bandwidth LED (40 k, 20 k, 10 k, 5 k, 2.5 k) lights according to the channel mode
and tape speed set by the SIR-1000W.
