Setting the Input DC Offset (OFFSET) (Analog channel)
Manual
1
To select the M-OFFSET (manual offset setting) mode, press the OFFSET key.
2
Press the
;
or
:
key to select the channel.
3
Each time the
8
or
9
key is pressed, the offset changes by +1% or –1%. Press
continuously to change the offset faster.
4
The input DC offset values for each channel are displayed in the tape position display
area. The left and right arrows in the table below indicate the direction of change when
the key is pressed.
Note
For example, a +100% offset indicates that, when the input range is ±20 Vpk, the
waveform is shifted upwards by superimposing a DC voltage of +1.00
×
20 (V) = +20.0
(V) on the input signal. The same applies to other values.
Automatic
1
To select the A-OFFSET (automatic offset setting) mode, press the SHIFT key and
then the OFFSET key.
2
The peak values for the plus and minus sides of the input signal for each channel are
automatically detected and the DC components calculated.
3
Press the OFFSET key once more after 3 seconds or more to set the input DC offset
values for all channels.
4
The input DC offset values for each channel are displayed in the tape position display
area.
