13 Adjusting and calibrating the unit

13.2 Adjustment and calibration via the "Unit adjustment/calibration" menu

Installation Manual ORTHOPHOS XG 3D / Ceph

2. Once you have taken the exposure, measure distance S1 with the

SIDEXIS XG measuring ruler.

3. Overwrite the adjustment value for S1 in the text box of the

"Ceph -

Fixed point of rotation Quickshot"

menu with the measured value.

For information about the shifting direction (input of +/- sign in the

menu), see the chapter entitled "Shifting direction of the exposed

image area". Use points as decimal separators!

4. Continue with the adjustment procedure as described in the chapter

entitled "Automatic adjustment: Ceph - QuickShot fixed point of

rotation (standard) [ → 238]".
