13.2.2.6 Dosimetry
A dosimeter for pulsed radiation (e.g. Mult-O-Meter 512L) is required for
dosimetry.
1. In the structure tree, under
"3D Adjustment/calibration"
, click on the
"Dose measurement"
element.
2. Attach the Mult-O-Meter sensor in the middle of the combisensor.
3. Make SIDEXIS XG ready for exposure. [ → 206]
4. Take an exposure (85 kV/35 mA s) [ → 206].
5. Read the dose shown on the Mult-O-Meter.
6. Note down the dose for later recording.
7. If the measured dose is between 1.2 and 2.3 mGy, check the box in
the action area next to the text
"Dose is within range of 1,2 - 2,3 mGy"
.

The traffic light symbol in front of the
"Dose measurement"
element in the structure tree changes color to green (with check
mark).
8. Remove the Mult-O-Meter from the dual sensor.
