Description
With this command, you enable the DHCP server on the device.
Note
To avoid conflicts with IPv4 addresses, only one device may be configured as a DHCP
server in the network.
Note
Maximum number of IP addresses
The maximum number of IPv4 addresses that the DHCP server supports is 100. In other
words, a total of 100 IPv4 addresses (d static).
With the static assignments, you can create a maximum of 20 entries.
Requirement

NAT is enabled in Client mode
●
You are in the Global Configuration mode.
The command prompt is as follows:
cli(config)#
Syntax
Call the command without parameter assignment:
ip dhcp-server
Result
The DHCP server is enabled.
Further notes
You disable the DHCP server with the
no ip dhcp-server.
command.
