– Porsche recommends using the Porsche Uni-
versal Charger (AC) together with the Charging
Dock or the basic wall mount.Refer to the sep-
arate instructions for the Porsche charging
equipment and instructions of the vehicle
charging cable used.
– Vehicle charging cables without protection
(standardized in accordance with IEC 61851-1,
SAE J1772 or GB/T 18487 (mode 1)) are not
supported.
– The temperature of the vehicle should be be-
tween approx.–4 °F (–20 °C) and +104 °F
(+40 °C) during the charging process.

1. Refer to the separate instructions for the Por-
sche charging equipment and instructions for
the vehicle charging cable used.
2. Open the charge port door by pressing on the
rear part of the door.

3. Press the release button ( arrow ) and insert the
vehicle plug A completely into the charge port.
The vehicle plug is locked and the charging
process is started. The light indicator
B and the
light indicator on the button C indicate the
charge state of the high-voltage battery and the
connection status of the vehicle plug.
