Porsche Car Connect
The Porsche Car Connect smartphone app pro-
vides the opportunity to establish a connection
with the vehicle over the cellular network. This al-
lows vehicle-specific information to be retrieved
directly using a smartphone and selected vehicle
settings to be made via the app.
Further information can be obtained from www.
porsche.com/connect or from an authorized Por-
sche dealer.

Operating and making settings for the app while
driving could distract you from the traffic situation.
You may lose control of the vehicle.

Operate and adjust settings only while the ve-
hicle is stationary.

Since it is possible to access vehicle-specific data
and other functions through the Porsche Car
Connect app, it is recommended that this data be
protected from unauthorized third-party access.
Information
Using the Porsche Car Connect app could incur
additional costs with your cellular operator since
data is transmitted over cellular networks.
When this function is active, communication be-
tween your vehicle and the
Porsche Car Connect
App is suppressed. No vehicle-specific informa-
tion is transferred to the Porsche Car Connect
App . This means that no settings cam be made on
the vehicle via the app. If there is no active con-
tract for the vehicle, the
Porsche Car Connect
App menu item is grayed out. Even when the func-
tion is deactivated, location information for your
vehicle is transmitted if your vehicle breaks down,
if you make an emergency call or if the vehicle is
stolen.
