Extendible rear spoiler

The rear spoiler improves driving stability at high
speeds and reduces fuel consumption at low
speeds.
The Panamera Turbo features an enhanced rear
spoiler with a larger aerodynamically effective
spoiler surface thanks to additional flaps.
Automatic mode
Automatic extension and retraction of the rear
spoiler depends on various conditions.
The rear spoiler extends automatically:
– to position
A at approx. 56 mph (90 km/h)
– to position B at approx. 130 mph (205 km/h).
The rear spoiler retracts automatically:
– from position
B to position A at approx.
112 mph (180 km/h).
– from position A to the final position at approx.
37 mph (60 km/h).
If the automatic control system fails, a warning
message regarding the rear spoiler malfunction
appears on the instrument cluster.

WARNING
Changed aerodynamics
A warning message regarding the rear spoiler
malfunction indicates that driving stability will be
impaired at higher speeds through the increased
rear-axle lift.

Adapt your driving style and speed to the al-
tered vehicle handling.
e
Have the fault repaired by an authorized Por-
sche dealer. Porsche recommends an author-
ized Porsche dealer, as they have trained
technicians and the necessary parts and tools.
Manual mode
When the ignition is on, the rear spoiler can be ex-
tended and retracted manually using the touch
display in the dashboard. Complete automatic re-
traction of the rear spoiler is prevented in manual
mode.
Manual extension
1. Select CAR

Spoiler .
2. Select the desired spoiler position in the touch
display.
The current spoiler position is indicated in the
vehicle model.
Information
The selected spoiler position can be stored in IN-
DIVIDUAL mode.

2. Current speed < 9 mph (15 km/h):
Press and hold button
RETRACTED until the
rear spoiler has reached its final position.

Current speed > 9 mph (15 km/h): Briefly
press button
RETRACTED .
The rear spoiler is in automatic mode.
CAUTION
Retracting and extend-
ing the rear spoiler
When the rear spoiler is manually extended or re-
tracted while the vehicle is stationary, body parts
can become trapped between the moving spoiler
and stationary vehicle parts.

Make sure that no persons are within the range
of movement of the rear spoiler.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the rear spoiler.

Do not push the vehicle by the rear spoiler.
