Ingredients
Chicken, approx. 1 kg
Salt, paprika, curry powder
2–3 tbsp oil
100 ml double cream or crème fraîche
Cornflour
Method
Mix the oil with the salt, paprika and
curry powder. Brush over the chicken.
Place breast side down in a roasting
dish and roast uncovered. After
20 minutes, turn the meat, add some
cream or crème fraîche, and continue
to roast uncovered.
Deglaze the juices from the meat with
the rest of the cream/crème fraîche and
some water, and thicken with cornflour
paste. Carve the chicken and serve
with the sauce.
