Cable Wiring

All Kantronics software requires five wires between the computer and the

KPC-9612 Plus. The pins that must be connected from your KPC-9612 Plus to

the computer for these programs are Txd, Rxd, SG, RTS, and CTS. If you are us-

ing other software, you should refer to that documentation to determine the cable

requirements for proper operation. Some software does not support hardware

flow control and may fail to operate if the RTS and CTS lines are connected.
The 9612 Plus serial port connector has 25 pins, which are configured at the fac-

tory as:
