If DAYTIME is entered with no parameter, the daytime is displayed using the
format defined by the DAYSTR command.
+ Hint: If the time appears to be stuck, check the current value of DAYSTR, to be
sure that the DAYSTR setting is being used to format the display of time and
date, and not (in error) to attempt to supply an actual date and time. If this is not
the case, fix the problem and see if time and date displays work correctly.

This parameter is used to adjust the software clock, if needed, for accurate time
keeping. Increasing the parameter will slow the clock, decreasing the parameter
will speed up the clock. Each count corresponds to .40 seconds increase or de-
crease per 24 hours. Ambient temperature will affect the clock to some degree.
DAYTWEAK has no effect on the battery-backed clock (BBC); that clock is set only by us-
ing the DAYTIME command. The software clock stops when a soft reset or powering off
occurs, and upon power on the software clock is set to the value of the BBC.
DBLDISC {ON | OFF}

The setting of Double Disconnect (DBLDISC) determines how many disconnects
will be issued when the Disconnect (DISC) command is used. When DBLDISC
is set OFF, only one disconnect will be sent when DISC is issued.
Setting the Double Disconnect (DBLDISC) command to ON allows your station
to disconnect from a distant station immediately when you issue the Disconnect
(D) command. By issuing two Disconnects instead of one with your Disconnect
(D) command, your station will not wait for the distant station to acknowledge a
Disconnect (D) command (i.e., the first one sent) before disconnecting.
