If the S option is used, i.e. MHEARD S, then only the callsigns of the stations

heard will be displayed.
If the L option is selected, all callsigns contained in the received packet including

the digipeater paths, are displayed. For example (on port 1):

Here, your station heard NØGRG transmitting an ID packet. NØGRG was also

using the digipeating path TOP, KCI, WØXI. If your station heard NØGRG via

one of these other stations, an asterisk would show by the call or alias of the last

digipeater heard. When listed short, the asterisk would show beside NØGRG.

+ Whenever PASSALL is ON, packets will not be checked for errors and no addi-

tions will be made to the MHEARD list.
If the C option is used, the list is cleared.

default ON/ON
The MONITOR command acts as a master switch for monitoring packets. If set

to OFF, only packets resulting from a connect (connection) to the TNC will be

displayed. If set ON, all other packets - including control packets, unconnected

packets (unproto), and packets exchanged between two other stations “con-

nected” together - may be displayed (monitored) if those packets are not re-

stricted by the settings of the various special monitoring commands: MALL,

MBEACON, MCOM, MCON, MRESP, MRPT, and MXMIT.
For example, when MONITOR is set to ON, unconnected packets will be moni-

tored unless prohibited by SUPLIST, BUDLIST, or LLIST.
The addresses in each packet are displayed along with the data portion. Callsigns

(to and from fields) are separated by a “>”; and the Secondary Station Identifier

(SSID) is displayed if it is other than 0. If any data is contained in the monitored
