About this task

Use this procedure to configure a static route. Create static routes to manually configure a path

to destination IP address prefixes.

Prerequisites

• Enable IP routing globally
• Enable IP routing and configure an IP address on the VLANs to be routed.

Procedure

To configure a static route, enter the following from the Global Configuration command
mode:
