DHCP relay configuration procedures

About this task

To configure DHCP relay, perform the following steps:

Procedure

1. Ensure that DHCP relay is enabled globally. (DHCP relay is enabled by default.)

2. Configure the DHCP relay forwarding path, specifying the VLAN IP as the DHCP

relay agent and the remote DHCP server as the destination.

3. Enable DHCP for the specific VLAN.

Use this procedure to configure the global DHCP relay status. DHCP relay is enabled by

default.

To configure the global DHCP relay status, enter the following from the Global
Configuration mode:
