COPY program 

(a)

 

When COPY is selected, the following message appears: 

FLOPPY DISK FORMAT & COPY : VX.XX 
Type select (0:2DD,3:2HD) ? 

(b)

 

Selecting a media/drive type number will display a message similar to the one 
below: 

Insert source disk into drive A: 
Press any key when ready. 

(c)

 

Remove the Diagnostics Disk from the FDD, insert the source disk and press 
any key. The following message will appear, indicating the program has 
started. 

[ FDD TYPE ] : TRACK

[ FDD TYPE ] : HEAD

  

 

= X 

[ FDD TYPE ] : SECTOR   = XX 

Copy start 

[[ track,head = XXX X ]] 

(d)

 

The following message will appear. 

Insert target disk into drive A: 
Press any key when ready. 

(e)

 

Remove the source disk from the FDD, then insert a formatted work disk and 
press any key. The following message will appear and start copying to the 
target disk.  

[[ track,head = XXX X ]] 

(f)

 

When the amount of data is too large to be copied in one operation, the 
message from step (b) is displayed again. After the floppy disk has been 
copied, the following message will appear: 

Copy complete 
Another copy (1:Yes/2:No) ? 

(g)

 

To copy another disk, type 

1

 and the message from step (a) is displayed again. 

Entering 

2

 returns the test program to the DIAGNOSTIC MENU.
