Au Panel Presets
Au Panel settings may be stored and recalled as needed (D950
only). All switch states may be stored in any of four Au Panel
“Presets.” This is helpful when the same settings are used frequently. Pre-
sets may also be programmed to emulate V2.5 Automation Panel settings.
Storing Au Panel Preset:
Au Panel Presets may be stored as follows:
1.
Set all Au Panel controls to the desired state.
2.
Hold the
STORE
key and press the desired Preset key (
PRE A
,
PRE B
,
PRE C
,
and
PRE D
).
Recalling
Au
Panel Preset:
Au Panel Presets may be recalled as follows:
1.
Press the Preset key (key (
PRE A

PRE B
,
PRE C
,
and
PRE D
) for the
Preset to be recalled.
Long Term Storage:
The contents of all Au Panel Presets, along with the current set-
tings, may be stored as part of a User File. Refer to
chapter 5.17
.

5.14.6
Static Data
(D950 only)
The
STATIC
key on the D950 Au Panel has two functions:
• When lit, the
STATIC
key indicates that Static Data Buffer is active and
there is a difference between the current Static values and those stored
within the current Mix Pass (Active Pass).
• Pressing the
STATIC
key clears the current Static values and those
stored within the current Mix Pass (Active Pass). This function cannot
be undone.
Notes:
Static data may also be cleared by clicking the Clear Static button in the
Au window.
In the “Automation Options – Misc” menu (also refer to
chapter 5.21.8
),
static objects can be protected under certain circumstances.
