Check
1.
Insert a blank tape and record the signal about one
minute.
2.
Play back the recorded portion.
3.
On the DIAG menu, set PAGE and ITEM as follows.
PAGE : <TEST><RF><A/Ech>
Check the channel condition of A/Ech.
Specification
: Only leftmost square on the LCD
lights up.
4.
Check the B/F, C/G, D/H channels in the same way.

Insert an alignment tape (ZR5-1/P) and put the unit
into the PB mode.
2.
On the DIAG menu, set PAGE and ITEM as follows.

Check the channel condition of A/Ech.
Specification
: Only leftmost square on the LCD
lights up.
3.
Check the B/F, C/G, D/H channels in the same way.
