7-3-1. Tension Regurator Adjustment
Adjusting
1. Tape end sensor removal
(1) Loosen the screw fixing the tape end sensor.
(2) Detach the tape end sensor from the tension regurator.
2. DME position adjusting
(1) Insert the S-tension arm positioning pin to the hole on
the mechanical plate to restrict the movement of the S-
tension arm.
(2) Loosen the screw fixing the TR-57 board 1/4 to 1/2
turn.
(3) Set the the flatbrade screwdriver to the notch of the
TR-57 board.
(4) Turn the screwdriver and adjust the position of the TR-
57 board so that it meet the specificasion.

(5) While holding the screwdriver in step (4), tighten the
screw.
(6) Remove the S-tension arm positioning pin.
3. Spring position adjustment
(1) Hook the S-tension weight (W44) to the tension
regurator guide (S5 guide).
(2) Push down the S-tension arm until it is stopped.
(3) And release the S-tension arm softly.
(4) Swing the S-tension weight, and then quiet it using a
finger softly.
