Check if the main power
switch on the dryer is ON

Turn on the main power
switch on the dryer

The dryer does not work unless turn the main power switch on.

Check the power supply
cable on the dryer and
wiring of the printer

Check the wiring
connection and contacts

Check the cable wiring, connection and contact between the power
source on the printer and dryer. The dryer does not work unless it
wires/connects correctly.

Check the setting on the
machine

Check the setting of
dryer on the machine

User's Manual

The heater temperature does not rise to the set temperature when the
setting of dryer is OFF on the machine.

Check the operation
environment

Explain to User

User's Manual

In a cold environment, warm up may take a long time or the heater
temperature may fail to reach the preset value.  Explain to users to use
the heater where the temperature is 20 to 32 degree °C.

Check the power supply
cable on the printer

Check the wiring
connection and contacts

Check the cable wiring, connection and contact between the power
source on the printer and dryer. The dryer does not work unless it
wires/connects correctly. If  the main power switch cannot turn on after
removing the heater control board especially, make sure to connect the
cable to CN1 and CN2 correctly on the heater control board.

Check the value of
resistance

Replace the heater
control board
Replace the coil in the
dryer

Check the value of resistance about connector on the heater control
board by using circuit tester. Check whether the value is between 78
and 106 

Ω

 or not for each 1 to 5 pin, 1 to 7 pin and 1 to 9 pin. If it is

between 78 to 106 

Ω

, the heater control board has a problem. Follow

[Check if the heater control board is broken] below. If the value of
resistance is 0 or infinity, replace the coil in the dryer. 1 to 5 pin for the
upper side, 1 to 7 pin for the middle and 1 to 9 pin for the down side of

The heater does not work correctly because the signal to the heater is
not transferred correctly.
