6–16 Replacement Procedures
Blower and Airflow Assembly
(Figure 6–6)
Blower Removal
1. Disconnect connector (1).
2. Remove the hose clamp (6) and separate the airflow hose assembly (7)
from the blower outlet boot (8).
3. Remove three screws (3), lockwashers (4), and washers (5).
4. Remove the blower (9) from the printer.
Blower Installation
1. Position the blower in the printer cabinet.
2. Install three screws, lockwashers, and washers.
3. Attach the airflow hose assembly to the blower outlet boot and secure
with the hose clamp (6).
4. Connect connector (1).
Airflow Assembly Removal
1. Disconnect connector (2).
2. Remove hose clamps (6) and (10) and remove the airflow hose assembly
(7) from the printer.
Airflow Assembly Installation
1. Position the airflow hose assembly as shown and secure with hose
clamps (6) and (10).
2. Connect connector (2).
