the startup DC braking time is 0, the AC drive starts directly without DC braking. The larger the
startup DC braking current is, the larger the braking force is.
If the startup mode is pre-excited start, the AC drive builds magnetic field based on the set
pre-excited current. After the pre-excited time, the AC drive starts to run. If the pre-excited time is 0,
the AC drive starts directly without pre-excitation.
The startup DC braking current or pre-excited current is a percentage relative to the base
value.

0
It is used to set the frequency change mode during the AC drive start and stop process.
•
0: Linear acceleration/deceleration
The output frequency increases or decreases in linear mode. The PE6000 provides four group
of acceleration/deceleration time, which can be selected by using P4-00 to P4-08.
•
1: S-curve acceleration/deceleration A
The output frequency increases or decreases along the S curve. This mode is generally used in
the applications where start and stop processes are relatively smooth, such as elevator and
conveyor belt. P6-08 and P6-09 respectively define the time proportions of the start segment and
the end segment.
•
2: S-curve acceleration/deceleration B
In this curve, the rated motor frequency fb is always the inflexion point. This mode is usually
used in applications where acceleration/deceleration is required at the speed higher than the rated
frequency.
When the set frequency is higher than the rated frequency, the acceleration/ deceleration time
is:
In the formula, f is the set frequency, is the rated motor frequency and T is the acceleration
time from 0 Hz to fb.
