Gently apply pressure equally over the top surface of the processor until it seats in the
socket. The processor should fit, do not force the processor into the socket. Push the socket
lever down until it snaps into the locked position.
8.
Position the heat sink on the processor.
9.
Install both heat sink clips as follows:
(1) Hook one end of the clip over the tab on the retention.
(2) Align the clip with the slot in the heat sink and press down on the center of the clip
until it snaps over the center tab.
(3) Snap the other end of the clip down over its tab.
