Creating the ESMPRO User Group
To create the ESMPRO User Group, you must be logged in with Administrator privileges.
1.
Right-click on the [My Computer] icon displayed on the desktop and select [Manage] from
the pull-down menu.
NOTE
:
Manager setup shows "NvAdmin" for ESMPRO User Group by
default.
In case when you register ESMPRO User Group as Global Group, be
careful not to create Local Groups with the same name. Also, when the
machine you are installing is Backup Domain Controller, be sure to specify
Global Group.
2.
In the [Computer Management] dialog box, select [Local Users and Groups].
3.
Right-click on the Groups folder and select [New Group] in the pull-up menu.
4.
In the [Group Name] field, type any name you want for the new ESMPRO User Group and
click on [Add]. (Capitalization is important.)
5.
Click on [Close] to close the [New Group] window.
6.
Close the [Computer Management] window and reboot your system.
7.
Continue by installing the manager software as described below.
