Procedure from Start-up to Exit
The following describes the procedure from starting to exiting the SCSI
Select
utility. For
parameter descriptions, see the section "Parameters" described later.
1.
Power on the Express server.

The SCSI

utility starts and its Main menu appears.

Select the channel with the cursor keys and press

The system board is provided with two SCSI controller channels. Channel A (slot 00
02:09:00) refers to the Ultra 320 SCSI connector (for hard disks); Channel B (slot 00
02:09:01) refers to the Ultra 320 SCSI connector (for 5.25-inch devices and external SCSI
devices).

The Options menu appears.
If you wish to format a disk, verify disk media, or display a list of devices and their SCSI
Ids, select "SCSI Disk Utilities". If you wish to configure the adapter or a device, select
"Configure/View SCSI Controller Settings". Select an option and press
Enter
