Once the specified torque is maintained, check the wheel nut torque after every 10 and 50 hours (field or road operation)
and then at 200 hour intervals thereafter.
To tighten the caster wheel hardware on a forked caster:

Sequence
1.
Position the wheel on the axle. Install wheel nuts (A).
2.
Tighten wheel nuts (A) to 163 Nm (120 lbf·ft) using the
tightening sequence shown. Repeat the tightening
sequence three times.

2.

Raising Caster Wheel

Formed and Forked
The caster wheel will need to be raised off of the ground to be removed or installed.
DANGER
To prevent bodily injury or death from the unexpected startup of the machine, always stop the engine and remove the
key from the ignition before leaving the operator

s seat for any reason.
CAUTION
The jack stand must be capable of supporting a minimum of 2268 kg (5000 lb.).

Park the windrower on level ground and block the drive wheels.
