Drive the windrower slowly forward until boots (A) enter
header legs (B). Continue driving slowly forward until the
lift linkages contact the support plates in the header legs
and the header is nudged forward.
6.
Ensure that the lift linkages are properly engaged in the
header legs and are contacting the support plates.

Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the
ignition.
8.
Loosen nut (A) and rotate barrel (B) to adjust the barrel
’
s
length until the link is aligned with the header bracket.
9.
Install clevis pin (C) and secure it with cotter pin (D).
10. Adjust the length of the link to achieve the proper header
angle by rotating barrel (B). Tighten nut (A) against the
barrel (a slight tap with a hammer is sufficient).

11. Start the engine.
12. Press HEADER UP switch (A) to raise the header to its
maximum height.
13. If one end of the header does
NOT
fully raise, rephase the
lift cylinders as follows:
a.
Press and hold the HEADER UP switch until both
cylinders stop moving.
b.
Continue to hold the switch for 3
–
4 seconds. The
cylinders are now phased.
NOTE:
It may be necessary to repeat this procedure if there is air in
the hydraulic system.
