1. Shut down the engine and remove the key.
2. Clean around

ller cap (A).
3. Turn cap (A) counterclockwise until loose and
remove cap.
4. Fill the tank with an approved DEF. Refer to
Lubricants, Fluids, and System Capacities, page 236
.
IMPORTANT:
Spilled DEF must be contained and absorbed by
a non-combustible absorbent material like sand
and then shovelled to a suitable container for
disposal. If spilled on tank or any surface of the
vehicle, rinse thoroughly with water.
5. Replace

ller cap (A) and turn clockwise until tight.

5.14.5 Belts
Tensioning Alternator Belt
The alternator/water pump belt is automatically tightened. Manual adjustment is
NOT
required.
Replacing Engine Belt
To replace the engine belt, follow these steps:

the key from the ignition before leaving the operator’s seat for any reason.

3. Loosen compressor mounting hardware (A) and rotate
the compressor (B) towards the engine to release
tension on belts.
4. Remove belts (C) from compressor (B).
