1. Clean the gasket groove (B) in the
fi
lter head (A).
2. Apply a thin
fi
lm of clean oil to the
fi
lter gasket (C).
IMPORTANT:
Do
NOT
pre-
fi
ll
fi
lter before installation as this may
potentially introduce un
fi
ltered oil into the system.
3. Install new gasket (C) into the groove (B) in the
fi
lter
head (A).
4. Screw the new
fi
lter (D) onto the
fi
lter head until the
gasket just contacts the
fi
lter.

5. Tighten
fi
lter (A) an additional 3/4 turn by hand.
IMPORTANT:
Do
NOT
use a
fi
lter wrench to install oil
fi
lter.
Overtightening can damage gasket and
fi
lter.
