• Firewall extension module (two connectors: P235 and
P236) (A)
Location: Behind cab, near lift fan block
To disconnect the connectors, use a small 1/8–1/4 in.
blade screwdriver to insert into the connector’s locking
tab. Gently pry upward (no more than 1/4 in.) to unlock
the connector tab, and pull the connector away from
the module. The connector should disconnect from the
module.

• Chassis extension module (two connectors: P247 and
P248) (A)
Location: Under cab, inside left frame rail
To disconnect the connectors, use a small 1/8–1/4 in.

the connector tab, and pull the connector away from
the module. The connector should disconnect from the
module.

Location: On engine
To disconnect the connectors, pull off the rubber
boot cover, unlock the latch lock, and then undo
the main over-center latch. Remove the strain relief
bolts (C) so the connectors can be pulled away from
the engine ECM.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to disconnect both connectors and note
connector locations.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to reconnect connectors in the proper
locations—do
NOT
cross connect.
