Export log file
The displayed information can exported to an external memory device like an USB-
stick or a network storage device.
Important
In order to store the data on a network storage device the network
path settings have to be configured. Please see chapter
for details.
The socket for the USB stick is located on the reverse side of the
printer. Please see chapter
for details.
Important
In addition the current system information file will also be exported.
Please see chapter
the system information file.
Proceeding:
Configure the
<Network ID>
of the printer in the
<Basic settings> (1)
and/or
Plug an USB-Stick into the USB-socket of the device

Press the button
<Export>

If there is a network ID configured and the network connection is activated a
confirmation prompt will pop up asking whether the data shall be saved to the
network storage device

. If this message is confirmed the information will be
stored on the network storage device. If the message is not confirmed it is
checked whether an USB stick is availabe. If no USB stick is avaibe a respective
message box pops up

. With an USB stick inserted the information is stored
to the USB stick.
When the data is saved on the connected medium a confirmation
messages
pops up

The message have to be confirmed with the
<OK>
button

The files are saved in a folder named
JET3UP_Log
. If this folder does not
already exist it will be created by the
<Export>
function.
Information
The number of entries in the log files is limited. The maximum number is
7200. The logging interval is 1 Minute. Therefore the log files stored in
the printers memory cover only 3 days. It is recommended exporting the
log data on a regular basis.
There will be no warning messages
! The
storage works as a circular buffer. When 100% is reached the memory is
overwritten, starting with oldest entries.
