Clean the main charger wire. If the wire is flawed, replace
it.
Check if the magnetic brush is formed uniformly. If not,
replace the developer.
Replace the drum (see page 3-3-40).

3. Deformed or worn cleaning blade.
4. Dirty or flawed main charger grid.

Clean the mirrors, dust filter and other parts in the optical
section.
Clean the drum or, if it is flawed, replace it (see page
3-3-40).
Check visually if the edge of the cleaning blade is deform-
ed or worn. If it is, replace (see page 3-3-54).
Replace the main charger grid.
