11 Checking switch operation
1. Enter 11 with the numeric keys.
2. Press the print key.
3. Press the all clear/reset key. Test copy mode is
entered.
4. Select the paper source with the paper select key.
5. Press the print key. The copying operation starts
and the paper size indicators turn on and off in se-
quence, showing the status of the individual
switches.
6. Enter 10871087 with the numeric keys. The copier
exits test copy mode and reenters simulation mode.
12 Checking solenoid operation
1. Enter 12 with the numeric keys.
2. Press the print key. The drive motor and developing
bias turn on.
3. Select the solenoid to be operated with the paper
select key.
4. Press the print key. The selected solenoid turns on.
5. Press the stop/clear key. The drive motor and de-
veloping bias turn off.
