3-4-1 Replacing the main PCB
After replacing the main PCB, remove the NVRAM from the old main PCB and fit it to the
new main PCB. If the new NVRAM is used, perform the following steps.
Procedure
• Before removing the old NVRAM:
1. Record the user settings of the following items which must be reentered after replacement.
• Drawer paper size setting
• Auto exposure adjustment
• Manual exposure adjustment
2. Enter simulation mode.
3. Run the following simulations and record the counts.
4. Exit simulation mode.
5. Turn the main switch off and unplug the power cord.
6. Replace the NVRAM with the new one.
