01 Exiting simulation mode
1. Enter 01 with the numeric keys.
2. Press the print key. The copier returns to the nor-
mal mode.
02 Copying without paper
1. Remove the connector from CN1 on the high-volt-
age transformer PCB.
Caution : Copying without paper with connector
CN1 removed applies a small amount of
toner to the drum surface, so do not run
this simulation too long.
2. Enter 02 with the numeric keys.
3. Press the print key.
4. Remove all the paper from the paper drawer and
bypass table.
5. Select copy modes.
6. Enter the number of copies with the numeric keys.
7. Press the print key to start copying. Copying contin-
ues until the set number of copies have been made
or the stop/clear key is pressed.
8. Enter 10871087 with the numeric keys. The copier
exits copying without paper mode and returns to
simulation mode.
05 Enabling ADF operation without originals
1. Enter 05 with the numeric keys.
2. Press the print key. The current setting appears on
the copy quantity display.
3. Change the setting with the zoom-up/down keys.
