Lens motor problem
The lens home position
switch does not turn on or
off within 7 s after initial
operation has started.
Shorted high-voltage

continuously for 2 s after
the high voltage output
has been turned on.

Check for continuity across
the coil. If none, replace the
lens motor.
Check if CN5-2 on the main
PCB goes high when the
lens home position switch is
on and goes low when the
switch is off. If not, replace
the lens home position
switch.
Check for continuity across
the connector terminals. If
none, replace them.
Replace the main PCB and
check the operation.
Check the charger wire visu-
ally. If it is broken, replace it.
Check the main charger
housing. If it is dirty, clean it.
Check the charger wires
visually. If either is broken,
replace it.
Check the transfer charger
housing. If it is dirty, clean it.
Detach the main or transfer
charger assembly; if C50
persists, replace the high-
voltage transformer PCB.
Replace the main PCB and
check the operation.
