Checking/clearing the maintenance count
1. Enter 72 with the numeric keys.
2. Press the print key.
3. Select a mode with the paper select key. The main-
tenance count appears on the copy quantity dis-
play.
•
To change the maintenance count
4. Change the setting with the zoom-up/down keys in
each mode.
Example: 7 for mode 1
0 for mode 2
0 for mode 3
In this example, the maintenance count is 70,000.
5. Press the print key. The new setting is stored.
Caution
: It is necessary to press the print key for
each mode to store the new setting.

To clear the maintenance count
6. Press the all clear/reset key. All the digits of the
count are reset to 0 (all cleared).
7. Press the stop/clear key.
