Description

The echo presentation in the

Inspection

view resembles the echogram you see
on an echo sounder. The

Inspection

view

can be regarded as an "echo sounder"
with an adjustable direction. In the ST90
system we use the phrase

echogram

describe the information provided by
the view.

Details

Echogram Orientation

The inspection beam offered by the ST90 system resembles a split beam echo sounders
that you can point in the desired directions. The

Echogram Orientation

function allows

you to see the echo data with the start depth and the transmit pulse at the transducer
face (looking "downwards"), or vice versa (looking "upwards").

Lock Inspection

The bearing of the

Inspection

view can be locked to the bearing the

Horizontal

view.
