Horizontal TX Sector

Horizontal swath:
A
This is the horizontal TX
sector in a horizontal
swath.
B
This is the vertical TX
sector in a horizontal
swath.
The
Horizontal Tx Sector
function allows you to
control whether the system
shall transmit acoustic
energy into the water in omni
(360°) or within a defined
sector. If the
Horizontal TX
Sector
value in a horizontal
swath is smaller than its
maximum value, the centre
of the sector is defined by
the
Bearing
function. In the
Horizontal
view the transmit sector is shown as a triangle originating from the vessel
symbol.
The
Vertical Tx Sector
function is used to change the vertical opening angle in
horizontal and vertical swaths.
Bow Marker
The bow marker is shown as a dotted line drawn from the bow of the vessel symbol.
The line reflects your vessel’s current heading. The bow marker can be enabled or
disabled on the
Visual Objects
menu.
Cursor
The position (bearing and distance) and depth of the cursor location is shown in the
lower right corner of the view. The depth is calculated from the current tilt and the
distance from the vessel. If you place the cursor over the tilt presentation in the upper
left corner of the
Horizontal
view you can use the scroll wheel to change the tilt.
User Settings
Any user setting selected on the Operating Panel is identified in the upper left corner
of the
Horizontal
view. The identifying number refers to the
User Setting
number on
