Placing data from a sea current sensor in the sonar view
A current sensor can be connected to the ST90 system. This can for example be an acoustic
Doppler current profiler (ADCP). The information from this sensor is presented in the
applicable views.
Prerequisites
For this functionality to work, a current sensor must be connected to the ST90 system.
Context
The data from the current sensor are presented in the relevant views using text and arrows.
Multiple arrows are used if the sensor presents information from more than one layer.
Procedure

Click once in the view that you wish to change.

Open the
Display
menu.

Select
Visual Objects
to open the menu.

Set
Current Vector
to
On
.
If you select
Apply to All
your setting is applied to
all the views
that support the
functionality.

Select
Display Options
to open the dialog box.
This dialog box contains a number of pages selected from the menu on the left side.

Select
Current Flow
to open the page.
The
Current Flow
page allows you how to present the direction of the sea current.

Choose the required setting.
•
To
: Use this setting to present the direction in which the ocean current is flowing.
•
From
: Use this setting to present the direction from which the ocean current is
coming. Observe the inverted arrows.

Select
OK
to save the selected setting and close the dialog box.
