Inspecting and cleaning the Operating Panel

To ensure long and trouble-free operation of the Operating Panel it must be inspected and
cleaned at regular intervals.

Prerequisites

No special tools are required for this task. You will however need a commercially available
mild detergent and a lint free cloth.

Procedure

Make sure that the Operating Panel is kept clean and dry.

Make sure that the unit is not exposed to excessive dust and vibrations.

Check for physical damage to the panel and/or the cables.

Remove dust and salt water residue with a soft cloth moistened in fresh water. Use a
mild detergent.

Note

Do not

use strong solvents.

Inspecting and cleaning the Transceiver Unit

To ensure long and trouble-free operation, the Transceiver Unit must be inspected and
cleaned at regular intervals.

Prerequisites

No special tools are required for this task. You will however need a commercially available
mild detergent and a lint free cloth.
