Keysight 8990B Programming Guide

Remarks

– If you set a scale value which exceeds its minimum or maximum limit, the value

will be clipped to its minimum or maximum value respectively. Error

–222,“Data out of range;Value clipped to minimum (#)” or –222,“Data out of

range;Value clipped to maximum (#)” will occur.

– If channel 1 or 4 is not connected, error –241,“Hardware missing; Sensor is not

found in channel <channel>.” will occur.

Reset condition

On reset, the scale is set to 5 dB/1 mW per division for channels 1 and 4, and 1 V

per division for channels 2 and 3.

Query

CHANnel{1|2|3|4}:SCALe?

This query returns the current setting of the scale for the specified channel. The

response format is
