Release Information
Command introduced before JunosE Release 7.1.0.
ingress-only
keyword added in JunosE Release 9.3.0.
Description
Sets the default idle timeout or session timeout for B-RAS PPP users, and optionally
enables the PPP application to monitor only ingress traffic for the configured idle timeout
period to determine whether to disconnect an inactive PPP session. The
no
version
restores the idle timeout or session timeout to its default value, 0 seconds, and disables
ingress-only traffic monitoring for idle timeout if configured. .
NOTE:
To enable ingress-only traffic monitoring for the idle timeout period by issuing
the
aaa timeout idle ingress-only
command, you must also set the idle timeout value
by issuing the
aaa timeout idle
command.
Options
idleTimeout
—In seconds, 300–86400
•
•
sessionTimeout
—Time in the range 60–31622400 seconds (that is, a minimum of 1
minute to a maximum of 366 days); the router terminates the user session once the
maximum session timeout is reached, which means that the duration of a PPP or an
L2TP user session cannot exceed 366 days
•
ingress-only—Enables PPP to monitor only ingress traffic for the configured idle timeout
period to determine whether to disconnect an inactive PPP session; if you do not specify
the
ingress-only
keyword, PPP monitors both ingress traffic and egress traffic for the
idle timeout period to determine inactivity and subsequent disconnection of an inactive
PPP session
