Antimicrobial Coating
The housing of the device can be provided with an antimicrobial
coating if requested. This contains a lacquer additive made of pure
metallic silver that reliably kills microorganisms that come into con-
tact with the surface. This can prevent the growth of bacteria, fungi
and other microorganisms on the surfaces in the incubation chamber.
The door of the device is always provided with an antimicrobial coat-
ing, even if the option was not ordered.
INFORMATION
The inner side of the incubation chamber as well as the door can
become slightly discoloured due to the silver in the lacquer. This
discoloration has no negative impact on the antimicrobial charac-
teristics of the coating or the cultivated product.
