Note:
If the lamp tilts during insertion, check the pins—they
should be straight. If they are not straight, re-align the pins be-
fore insertion.
Warning:
Never touch the flash lamp’s glass bulb with
bare hands. The oils from your hands can weaken the
bulb and cause catastrophic failure. Handle the flash
lamp with tissues, cloth gloves, or soft cloths only.

Discard the old flash lamp in a safe and appropriate manner.

Insert the new flash lamp.

Align the pins with the lamp socket.
The cathode and anode should be vertical, as shown here.

Push the lamp in firmly until it is seated securely and
properly.

Replace the lamp-housing cover.

Secure the two screws on the lamp-housing
cover.

Replace the instrument cover, and reseat the
seven Phillips screws.

Reconnect all cables (power, accessories, etc.)
to the FluoroMax
®
-P.
